Saturday Night: Live in Omaha

Mar 27 2011 Published by under [Etc]

My parents had me over for some wine and cheese and hoops tonight. When I got home, several teens were in my basement watching the tele.

I have lost track of how many came and left. I have little idea of what they are watching.

I remember being that age. Every Saturday night ended in front of the television with that hot new show, Saturday Night Live. I can still remember watching "King Tut" at a cast party on a blind date.

I hope my son has similar memories in 30 years or so.

Good night!

I don't think there's a winning bracket on this planet. Holy crap.

My brother and I would pull out the bed in the living room couch, get ice cream or popcorn, and watch old reruns of I Love Lucy and Honeymooners until 2-3am.

According to ESPN, 162 of the ~6 million brackets submitted to their web site include both Butler and VCU in the final four. So if you meet anyone who claims they have those, picks, odds are they are lying.

Frankly, I can't believe 162 people put VCU in the final four, let alone in combination with Butler. But then, I'm in last place in my pool.

Unreal. I want those 162 picking my lottery numbers! I threw my bracket the hell out.
