My hubby and I watched some television today, including this ad for toilet bowl cleaner.
"Have you ever seen an ad with a man cleaning a toilet?"
I cannot think of one. Can you?

In the UK, there are (or used to be) a whole series of ads with a man cleaning the bathroom (including the toilet, I think). The gist is that their product makes it so easy that the bloke can gain favour with the missus without actually having to do much work.
Does Mr. Clean count?
The question arises for us because my husband probably cleans the toilets 2-3 times for every time I do it. There are many reasons for this that I won't go into here. He is definitely NOT Mr. Clean.
We just can't think of a bathroom cleaner ad with a dude.
Well, there is the Ty-D-Bol man (you'd have to be of a certain age to remember the guy in a rowboat who hung around in your toilet tank).
So only men who are corporate symbols (and quite cartoony) clean bathrooms? I'm pretty certain that's the case for my son and his roommates (I do not wish to visit their bathrooms, frankly).
